A Living Sacrifice--Why?

Last week for this new series on worship, Pastor Jon-Michael laid out the foundation of our worship as being a living sacrifice. But why should we 'present our bodies as a living sacrifice?' It goes far beyond the cross or the resurrection but all the way to 'In the beginning God.'  Being less impressed by what we DO but who God is and what He has already done. His 'worthship'.
