A Living Sacrifice - Centrality of Christ in Worship
John MacArthur said, "What you think of Jesus Christ will thoroughly color how you think about everything else." Worship of Christ has the same foundation we saw last week for God but as Savior we worship what He did for us through the cross and in resurrection. Doubt, fear, worry, guilt, and uncertainty are perhaps some of the most consistent human issues dealt with in our lives. Because of that, two of the most powerful and impactful words of the Christian faith are redemption and forgiveness. When we begin to grasp what that actually means to us we can't help but praise and worship the One who can set us free.
Join us in asking this most personal question: Are you satisfied with what Jesus did for you on the cross? If so, how does that change the way you worship?
