Stand Firm for the Gospel
Today we’ll be in Galatians 2:1-14, a passage that shows how the gospel can easily be compromised. Paul meets with the “pillars” of the church for a strategy meeting on how to advance the Gospel. Yet just a few verses later, even Peter begins to shrink back out of fear, and the gospel itself is put at risk. This reminds us that the greatest danger to the church is not always open opposition, but quiet compromise. Our focus will be this clear and urgent call: Stand firm for the gospel so that it can flourish. The gospel is not only something we receive—it is something we must protect, live, and pass on.
This message will call us to examine our hearts, repent where we’ve drifted, return to Jesus, and recover a deep love for the gospel—so that our church becomes a place where the gospel truly flourishes.
