Until Christ is Formed in You

You may have heard (or lived) a story like this: In college in Michigan, I had been “seeing” a girl for most of a semester. When I left for Summer Break and drove 2500 miles back to the West, I remember thinking, “This is getting pretty   serious!” But some time in June the letters stopped, and by the first week of July – she was engaged. To someone else!

In Chapter 4, the Galatians provide another similar story where absence did not make the heart grow fonder; Paul’s relationship with his spiritual children was being preempted by another suitor. In his letter back to them, Paul reminds us that we are capable of being zealous for many things, but that only one thing - one person - is worth pursuing above all else.

Come join us at 11:00 a.m. this Sunday as we join together in Worship and encourage each other to strain toward things that really matter.
