Last Chance
John Spooner
Do you remember hearing as a child or in another setting, "This is your last chance!". You either took that seriously or paid the consequences. That is exactly the message Peter is preaching in Acts 2 and 3 to national Israel.
God had sent the Holy Spirit to confirm that prophetic message, empowering the apostles, especially Peter with power that even Jesus didn't display. All of it for one reason; the very same reason God brought in the church, the Body of Christ, with the Apostle Paul-His heart for the lost and need for a witness. How does that relate to the mission of the church today?
