Ignition of the Heart

What issues do you care about the most? What are the things in life that get you most fired up about? Family? Work? Politics? Sports? School? Boss? Employees? Social media posts? Faith? As we continue in our series on 2 Timothy, we see that Paul has to remind Timothy, in spite of severe opposition, what is 'sincere faith'? Not crumbling in fear but understand-ing that each one of us, in Christ, have been given a 'gift'. And often in our hearts a renewed passion needs to be fired up. But not just passion itself but focused on power, love and a sound mind.

Are those the issues that fire us up the most? The answer determines the level of strength facing every obstacle and challenge in our lives.
